Wells Fargo transactions in self-hosted Firefly III
The Firefly III data importer pulls Wells Fargo accounts, balances and transactions straight from Redbark over SimpleFIN. Every transaction carries a stable bank-issued ID, so repeat imports reconcile instead of duplicating.
Sync Wells Fargo to Firefly III in three steps
Connect Wells Fargo
Link your Wells Fargo accounts to Redbark through Plaid, then generate a SimpleFIN setup token in Settings → API & MCP and name it after your Firefly instance.

Claim the token in the importer
Run the Firefly III data importer, choose the SimpleFIN import flow, and paste the setup token when it asks. The importer claims it once and keeps its own private credentials.

Set a start date and import
Give the importer a start date before the first run. Without one it walks history from 1970 in 44-day chunks, which makes the initial Wells Fargo import very slow.
