Is my Qudos Bank connection read-only?

Yes. Redbark requests read-only access under the CDR. It can read transactions and balances, and can never move money or change your Qudos Bank accounts.

Does Redbark store my Qudos Bank data?

No. Redbark uses a pass-through architecture: your Qudos Bank transactions are proxied live to Firefly III. We store consent records, encrypted tokens and minimal account metadata, never transaction amounts, descriptions or balances.

Connect Qudos Bank

Link your Qudos Bank accounts to Redbark through CDR Open Banking, then generate a SimpleFIN setup token in Settings and name it after your Firefly instance.

Claim the token in the importer

Run the Firefly III data importer, choose the SimpleFIN import flow, and paste the setup token when it asks. The importer claims it once and keeps its own private credentials.

Set a start date and import

Give the importer a start date before the first run. Without one it walks history from 1970 in 44-day chunks, which makes the initial Qudos Bank import very slow.
