How often does UBank sync to Sure?

Syncs are event-driven: UBank notifies Redbark via CDR webhooks when new data is available, and your Sure updates soon after, within a few hours of a transaction posting, with no fixed polling schedule.

Is my UBank connection read-only?

Yes. Redbark requests read-only access under the CDR. It can read transactions and balances, and can never move money or change your UBank accounts.

Does Redbark store my UBank data?

No. Redbark uses a pass-through architecture: your UBank transactions are proxied live to Sure. We store consent records, encrypted tokens and minimal account metadata, never transaction amounts, descriptions or balances.

Is Redbark independently security tested?

Yes. Redbark was penetration tested in July 2026 by Project Black, a CREST-accredited Australian security firm, covering the web app, REST API, MCP server and admin console. The test returned zero critical and zero high-risk findings, and every finding raised was remediated and confirmed closed on retest.

Do I need to run a container for UBank?

No. Sure supports Redbark natively from v0.7.3-alpha.6, so an API key is all it takes. The older sure-sync container still works for existing setups but is no longer the recommended path.
