# Connect a business bank account

> Ask your bank to enable Open Banking sharing and complete any required business authority setup.

Your bank decides whether a business profile and its accounts are eligible for Australian Open Banking data sharing. Redbark cannot change eligibility or authority settings held by the bank.

## Before connecting

1. Contact your bank and ask it to enable **Open Banking data sharing** for the business profile.
2. Complete the authority setup required by the bank. This may involve becoming a **sharing delegate** or **nominated representative**.
3. Ask the bank to confirm that the specific profile is enabled.
4. Return to Redbark and add the connection again.

If the bank's connection flow still says the profile is ineligible, contact the bank's Open Banking support team. The bank must resolve the eligibility or delegation state before Redbark can receive the accounts.
